"I believe The Web of Hope offers the best possible approach to the myriad ecological crises of the age"
"The Web of Hope... is precisely the sort of initiative which is required right now, mainstreaming the solutions which we so urgently need to implement if we are to build a sustainable future for the planet and for our children."
"I admire very much what you are doing."
"The Web of Hope lives up to its name because it's about people actually doing things, proving that solutions are possible by getting down to it and making them happen. That, not just worthy thoughts and wishful thinking, is what makes hope realistic."
"The Web of Hope is just what we all need, proving that together we can make a difference."
"My mantra of the moment is quick and simple and repeated to everyone I meet. Check out The Web of Hope. If there was ever an idea to change the world it's got to be this one."
"999 It's Time is precisely the sort of mass movement we need to pressure world leaders to get a grip. Time is running out and I urge everybody to get on board now." - Zac Goldsmith.
A Web of Hope campaign
The Web of Hope's first Bioversity, in Sri Lanka. Samakanda provides living proof of sustainable lifestyle solutions, inspired by the natural 'intelligence' of biological systems. Come, stay, relax, reflect, be inspired, learn, enjoy.
Check out our brand new roadshow: we'll be touring UK schools with this sharp-witted show; bringing environmental awareness to life using music, live performance, animation and film.
ESD is about changing the way we think about our relationship with nature and how human society conducts itself so that we reduce the stresses and strains on both global society and on nature.
This is our showcase for people making a difference in sustainability. There's plenty of change involved but in all cases the individuals, communities and businesses who have embarked on this journey think their quality of life has increased.
Footprinting, which can be a carbon footprint or more detailed ecological footprint, is a way of measuring the impact we have on the natural world. We need to make this measurement if we want to think sensibly about what to do next. Then the real business of change can start.
